

The Gangrel also have what some would consider werewolf features. Historically, the Gangrel left the Camarilla a few years before the events of the first Bloodlines, so depending on how the story of Bloodlines 2 unfolds, it might make more sense to leave them out initially. Sadly, the Gangrel and the Nosferatu don't quite fit into the narrative that has been established so far in Bloodlines 2. Gangrel and Nosferatu are the odd clans out Nosferatu in Vampire: The Masquerade-Bloodlines. The Malkavian can get into the minds of others, literally, and move beyond the confines of their physical body. Either way, other clans have kept them out of power for a long time because they fear their unpredictability. Others believe their fragmented visions of the future, for instance, is a blessing. Some believe their bloodlines was cursed. No one knows why they are all insane, they just are. The Malkavian are like the Targaryens of Vampire: The Masquerade lore. As such, their disciplines reflect a need to command and control people beneath them, to conquer their enemies and live to tell the tale. They have mastered the art of persuasion. They are the high-society, smile-to-your-face while-they-stab-you-in-the-back clan. They still run it, too, with one hand in city politics and the other in capitalistic ventures. Venture are the most politically minded, so it's no surprise that they founded the Camarilla thousands of years ago. Playing a Toreador feeling like being a rockstar. They can inspire adoration in those around them and literally hypnotize them with awe. The most beautiful and artistically-minded of all the clans, they equally benefit and suffer from their tendency to romanticize nearly everything. Likewise, they might want to stay clear from some Clans with rather complex narratives.If seducing others with your drop-dead gorgeous looks to get what you want is more your thing, check out the Toreador. Thankfully, some newcomers might want to stick with some Clans known to acquaint new Kindred easily among their ranks. After all, their Clan decides the kind of "upbringing" their Vampire would have as soon as they enter Kindred society. Interestingly, TTRPG fans planning to play a Masquerade game need to choose their Clan choice carefully.
